Create Your Operator Account

Register at /list-your-business/ using your business email, Google or Facebook. You'll set up your store name, sector, location and contact details. Your account goes live immediately — no waiting for manual approval.

Complete Your Operator Profile

Your profile is your storefront. Travelers visit it to learn about you before booking. A complete profile with photos, a bio and verified contact details gets significantly more bookings than an incomplete one.

  • Upload your logo or business photo
  • Write a compelling business bio (150–300 words)
  • Add your website and social media links
  • Upload a banner image for your store page
  • Add your full business address
💡 Tip: Operators with a complete profile receive 3× more profile visits than those with partial profiles. Take the time to fill everything in.

List Your First Experience

Add your tours, activities or services as bookable products. Each listing needs a title, description, photos, pricing and availability calendar. Well-written listings with professional photos convert dramatically better.

  • Clear, descriptive title (include location and activity type)
  • Detailed description (what's included, meeting point, what to bring)
  • At least 5 high-quality photos
  • Pricing per person (or group)
  • Availability calendar with bookable dates
  • Duration and group size limits
💡 Tip: Listings with 8+ photos and a description over 200 words get significantly higher click-through rates in search results.

Connect Your Payment Method

Before your products can go live for bookings, you need to connect a payout method. This is how UTravel Turkey transfers your earnings after deducting the platform commission.

  • PayPal — add your PayPal email address
  • Bank Transfer — add your IBAN and bank details
  • Payouts are processed weekly every Monday
⚠️ Important: Products cannot be purchased by customers until your payment method is connected. This step is required before going live.

Writing Listings That Convert

The difference between a listing that gets bookings and one that doesn't is almost always how it's written and presented.

Include the location, what makes it unique and what's included. Think about what a traveler would search for.

Description

Write at least 200 words. Cover: what the experience involves, the itinerary or flow, what's included and excluded, meeting point and time, what to bring, group size, and any requirements (fitness level, age restrictions).

Photos

Upload a minimum of 5 photos. Use landscape orientation (wider than tall). Show the activity in action, the views, your team and happy customers (with permission). Avoid blurry, dark or heavily filtered images. Minimum size: 1200×800px.

Pricing

Be transparent. Show the per-person price clearly. If you offer group rates or private options, list them separately as product variations. Hiding pricing or adding surprises at checkout leads to abandoned bookings and poor reviews.

Availability

Keep your calendar up to date. Mark unavailable dates immediately. Nothing damages your reputation faster than a confirmed booking for a date you can't fulfil. Enable automatic availability blocking once a booking is confirmed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly will my listing appear in search results?

Listings go live immediately after you publish them. They appear in the Tours & Experiences directory and are searchable right away. It may take a few days to appear in Google search results as Google re-indexes the site.

Do I need to be a registered business?

We welcome both registered businesses and individual operators. However, we do verify operators before applying the "Verified" badge. To get verified, you'll need to provide your business registration number or a government-issued ID along with proof of your tourism activity.

What types of experiences can I list?

Anything tourism-related across Turkey — guided tours, hot air balloon flights, boat cruises, food experiences, cultural activities, transfers, adventure sports, wellness services, photography tours and more. If you offer it to travelers in Turkey, you can list it.

Can I list experiences in multiple cities?

Yes. Your operator profile is based in one primary location, but you can list individual products in different locations across Turkey. Each product has its own location field.

What happens if I need to cancel a booking?

You can manage cancellations through your Vendor Dashboard → Bookings. Contact the customer directly via the booking notification email as soon as possible. Repeated cancellations affect your operator rating and visibility in search results.

How does the "Verified" badge work?

Verified operators have confirmed their business identity with UTravel Turkey. Verification is free. To apply, go to your Vendor Dashboard → Settings and submit your verification documents. We review within 3–5 business days. Verified operators appear higher in search results.

Can I offer private and group rates for the same tour?

Yes. When creating a bookable product, you can set up multiple pricing tiers — for example, per-person for group bookings and a flat rate for private tours. Use Dokan's product variations to set this up.

How do I get more bookings?

The operators who get the most bookings consistently do four things: complete profiles with professional photos, write detailed descriptions over 200 words, respond to enquiries within a few hours and actively collect reviews from happy customers after each tour.
