How do I create an account?

Click Sign In in the top navigation and select Create Account. You can register with your email address or continue with Google or Facebook. Registration is free and takes less than a minute.

Can I use TripGenius without an account?

Yes — TripGenius gives you one free message to get started. After that, a free account is required to continue your conversation. This helps us provide a personalised experience and save your trip plans.

Booking Tours

How do I book a tour on UTravel Turkey?

Browse our Tours & Experiences or use TripGenius to find tours matched to your interests. Click on any tour to view full details, availability, and pricing. Follow the operator’s booking instructions — some operators accept instant booking, others require an enquiry first.

Are the operators on UTravel Turkey verified?

Yes. All operators listed on UTravel Turkey have gone through our verification process. Verified operators display a verification badge on their profile. We check business registration, licensing, and contact details before approving any listing.

What if I need to cancel a booking?

Cancellation policies vary by operator. Always check the specific cancellation policy on the tour or operator page before booking. For questions about a specific booking, contact the operator directly through their profile page.

Can I contact an operator before booking?

Absolutely — we encourage it. Visit any operator’s profile page and use the Enquire button to send a direct message. Most operators respond within 24 hours.

Visiting Turkey

Do I need a visa to visit Turkey?

It depends on your nationality. Citizens of many countries including the USA, UK, most EU nations, Canada, and Australia can enter Turkey visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Citizens of some nationalities require an e-Visa, which must be obtained before travel from the official portal at evisa.gov.tr. Always verify your specific nationality’s requirements before booking flights. Physical visa-on-arrival windows no longer exist — all visas are processed digitally.

Is Turkey safe to travel to in 2026?

Turkey’s main tourist destinations — Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya, the Aegean coast, Bodrum, and Fethiye — are safe and welcoming for international visitors. These areas are far from any conflict zones and operate normally. The US State Department currently rates Turkey at Level 2 (Exercise Increased Caution) which is the same level as many popular European destinations. Travel to southeast Turkey near the Syrian and Iraqi borders is advised against. For most visitors travelling the standard tourist circuit, Turkey is an excellent and safe destination. Always check your government’s current travel advisory before booking.

What currency is used in Turkey?

The Turkish Lira (TRY) is the official currency. Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and shops in tourist areas. Cash is useful for smaller purchases, markets, and rural areas. Currency exchange offices are available throughout tourist areas and at airports. ATMs are widely available in cities and towns.

What is the best time to visit Turkey?

Spring (April–June) and autumn (September–October) are the most popular seasons — mild temperatures, manageable crowds, and excellent conditions for both sightseeing and coastal activities. Summer (July–August) is peak season with the warmest weather but also the most crowds and highest prices. Winter is ideal for Istanbul city breaks and Cappadocia snow experiences. The best time depends on which regions you plan to visit.

What language is spoken in Turkey?

Turkish is the official language. In major tourist destinations, English is widely spoken in hotels, restaurants, and tour operator offices. Learning a few basic Turkish phrases — merhaba (hello), teşekkürler (thank you), lütfen (please) — is always appreciated and warmly received.

How do I list my business on UTravel Turkey?

Visit our List Your Business page to create your operator profile. You can register with email, Google, or Facebook. Once registered, you will have access to your vendor dashboard where you can add your business details, services, photos, and contact information.

Is it free to list my business?

Yes — a basic listing is free. You can create a profile, add your services, and appear in our operator directory at no cost. Premium listing options with additional visibility and features are available through our subscription plans.

What types of businesses can list on UTravel Turkey?

We welcome all legitimate Turkey-based tourism businesses including: tour operators, transfer and transportation services, boat and cruise operators, accommodation providers, activity and adventure operators, cultural guides, food and culinary experience providers, and travel agencies.

How long does approval take?

New listings are reviewed within 1–3 business days. You will receive an email notification when your listing is approved or if additional information is required. During busy periods, review may take slightly longer.

Managing Your Profile

How do I update my business information?

Log in to your account and access your vendor dashboard. From there you can update your business description, photos, contact details, services, and pricing at any time. Changes to your profile are reviewed before going live.

How do I add tours and experiences to my listing?

From your vendor dashboard, navigate to Products → Add New to create a tour or experience listing. Include a detailed description, pricing, photos, duration, and any relevant terms. Our team will review and publish it within 1–3 business days.

How do I get a Verified badge?

Verification is available to operators who provide valid business registration documents and pass our review process. To apply for verification, contact us through the Contact page with your business registration details. Verified operators receive a badge on their profile and improved visibility in search results.

How do I receive and manage enquiries from travellers?

Enquiries from travellers are sent to your registered email address and also appear in your vendor dashboard under Messages. We recommend responding within 24 hours to maintain a strong response rate, which improves your visibility in our directory.

How do I report an issue with a listing or operator?

If you encounter inaccurate information, a non-responsive operator, or any other concern, please contact us through the Contact page with the operator name and details of your concern. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.

How do I delete my account?

To request account deletion, contact us through the Contact page. We will process your request within 7 business days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
